Wet STEM
The Wet STEM is used to observe objects dispersed in thin liquid
layer by transmitted electrons. The Wet STEM assembly consists of
the following parts (in effect the Cooling Stage and the STEM I
detector):
•
The Wet STEM assembly
•
The Chamber feed-through plate
•
The Cooling stage controller and cables
•
The Water chiller, The Flow box and Cooling water hoses

WET STEM SET
It is mounted onto the microscope stage the same way as the Cooling
Stage (see above). The Wet STEM detection diode is connected to
the STEM slot in the SSD pre-amplifier input board (see above).
The software control corresponds to the one described for the Cooling
Stage and the STEM I detector (see above).
