ANNULAR SCANNING TRANSMISSION
ELECTRONS MICROSCOPY DETECTOR
(STEM II)
This is a 14 segments solid-state diode mounted on a retractable arm.
It must be used only with a special sample holder, oriented in an exact
position monitored by a software (see below). It works best at a slow
scan conditions.

Note:
When the STEM II detector is inserted to the chamber, the stage
rotation and the tilt are locked automatically for the safety.
Holder Arm Installation
1. Run the Home Stage (Shift + F3) procedure.
2. Remove all sample holders from the stage plate.
3. Rotate the stage to -60°. The stage plate holes must be
perpendicular to the stage door movement direction.
4. Screw the holder arm to the stage plate according to the following
picture.
