Installation and Service Guide: Color Controller E-36A

Using the E-36A

Make sure that the power switch on the back of the E-36A is in the ON (|) position.

Power on the printer.

The E-36A automatically starts up.

Check the Fiery QuickTouch display panel.

Allow startup to proceed without interruption. Do not press any buttons while the system is starting.

To shut down the E-36A, power off the printer.

Note:

Make sure that the E-36A is not receiving, processing, or printing any files. If the system just finished

processing, wait at least five seconds after the system reaches Idle state before you power off the printer.

If you shut down the E-36A, move the E-36A power switch to the off (O) position for maximum energy savings or

service (wait 10 seconds before you proceed).

To start or shut down the E-36A when power synchronization is OFF

Make sure that the power synchronization in disabled (see

page

Make sure that the power switch on the back of the E-36A is in the ON (|) position.

Press once and release the button to power on the system. The power supply automatically senses the correct

voltage.
