5.2 Replacing the Sample Syringe
Follow the instructions here to install a new 10 mL syringe (P/N 064224) in the
syringe pump.
5.2.1 Removing the Existing Syringe
Refer to Figure 5-1 when removing the existing syringe.
1. Remove the liquid from the
syringe.
2. Remove the plunger lock
screw.
3. In Chromeleon, select
SyringeAspirate in the
Commands dialog box.
Select the maximum
Volume
(i.e., the size of the installed
syringe) and click
OK to
lower the plunger drive.
4. Unscrew the syringe from the
valve.
