3.2.3 Selecting the Rinse Pump Speed
Use the potentiometer knob above the
rinse pump to set the flow rate for the
application (see
Figure 3-2 ).
The default speed is nominally set to
obtain a minimum speed of 40 rpm and
a maximum of 100 rpm.
When pumping viscous fluids, run at a
slow speed.

NOTE When the rinse pump is not in use, release the track
occlusion arm; this will extend the life of the bridge
tubing (see
Figure B-4 ).
