Titan SiliconServer
This is similar in the Titan SiliconServer. The administrator has the ability to add users to any
of the local groups named above. Although users can be added to any of these groups, only
three of them are currently effective:
•
Administrators
- If a user is a member of the local Administrators group, the user can
take ownership of any file in the file system.
•
Backup Operators
- If a user is a member of the local
Backup Operators
group, the user
will bypass all security checks in the file system. This is required for accounts that run
Backup Exec
or perform virus scans.
•
Forced Groups
- If a user is a member of the local
Forced Groups
group, on files created
by that user, the user’s defined primary group will be overridden and the user account
will be used instead.
