To rename the RAID Rack, enter a new
Rack Name
and click
Rename Rack
.
The
Set Background Initialization
button will set the initialization preference (BGI or FGI),
depending on how the checkbox is marked.
RAID Monitoring allows a Titan to monitor a RAID Rack's health. If the storage subsystem is
accessible by multiple Titan SiliconServers, it may not be desirable to allow each Titan to
monitor every RAID Rack. Typically, Titan should only monitor RAID Racks that contain file
systems owned by that Titan. To stop monitoring a RAID Rack, select it from the list and click
Don't Monitor
. To re-enable monitoring of the RAID Rack, use the CLI command
mylex-rack-ignore off

The
Physical Disk Status>>
button will display a status page on the physical disk in the RAID
Rack.
The
Home Enclosure>>
button will display a graphic of the RAID Rack Enclosure. This page
will automatically refresh every 60 seconds. The status of the FAN, Temperatures, and the
physical disks are shown.
The
Battery Backup>>
button will display the status of the RAID Rack Battery Backup.
The
Active Task>>
button will display the on-going activity within the FC-16 RAID Rack.
The
Physical Disk Info>>
button will display the detailed information of the physical disk
within the FC-16 RAID Rack.
The
Start Background Consistency Check
button will start consistency check on the FC-16
RAID Rack.
The
System Drives>>
button will display a
RAID Configuration
page. On the
RAID
Configuration
page, System drives can be created, deleted, and initialized.
RAID cache
size
The size of the RAID cache.
Rack Name
The name of the RAID Rack.
Background
Initialization
By default, the box will be checked for background initialization (BGI).
For foreground initialization, remove the check-mark and click Set
Background Initialization.
