Creating System Drives

The storage system has been pre-configured by BlueArc. However, additional System Drives can
be configured. A System Drive comprises a number of

physical disks

and has a unique

identifying number (ID).

Caution:

Before creating System Drives, set aside at least one disk to be

used as a hot spare.
