In the
List of Email recipients
field, type the Email address of a user to whom the
system should send an Email notification each time it takes a snapshot. Enter multiple
addresses by separating each one with a semicolon (;). BlueArc recommends that
snapshot notifications be sent to at least one user.

Click
Apply
.
The system automatically deletes the oldest snapshot when the number of snapshots,
associated to a snapshot rule, reaches the specified queue limit. However, any or all of the
snapshots may be deleted at any time, and new snapshots can be taken.
Managing Snapshots
1.
From the
Data Protection
page, click
Snapshots
.
2.
Select a specific File System by clicking the
Change
button. When a File System is
selected, a list of the associated snapshots will appear.
To delete an individual snapshot, select it and then click
Delete
.
To delete all the snapshots, select
Check All
and then click
Delete
.
To take a new snapshot, click
Take a Snapshot
.
