Policy-Based Data Replication
To add a Replication Rule
From the
Home
page, click
Data Protection.
Then, click
Replication Rules.

Add
. The
Add Rule
page appears.
The fields on this screen are described in the table below:
Item/Field
Description
Name
Name of replication rule.
Description
Description of what the replication rule does.
Files to Exclude
Specifies files or directories to exclude from a replication. By
default, none are excluded.
When specifying a file or directory, type either:

A full path name, relative to the top-level directory
specified in the replication path. The path name must
start with a forward slash (/), and an asterisk (*) can be
typed at the end as a wildcard character.

A terminal file or directory name, which is simply the
last element in the path. The name must not contain
any / characters, but it may start or end with the
wildcard character *.
