Testing the Alert Configuration
After setting up the alert configuration, send a test alert to all the recipients that were selected
1.
From the
Home
page, click
Status & Monitoring
. Then, click
Send Test Event
.
2.
Select a
type
of message to send from the drop down page,
information
/
warning
/
critical
, and then enter a
test message
in the empty box.
3.
Click
Send Test Event Now
.
Field
Description
Notification
Frequency
Select the notification frequency for each
type of alert
.
New Syslog
Recipient
Type the name of the recipient in the New Syslog recipient field, and
click the Add Recipient button.
Delete Recipient
To delete a recipient, select it from the Syslog recipients list and click
the Delete Recipient button.
Delete All
Recipients
To delete all recipients click the Delete All Recipients button.
