To modify a group name, ID, or NFS-to-NT mapping, select the group in the Configured NFS
groups box and then type the new details in the NFS group properties fields. Click
Modify
Group
when this is finished.
To delete an individual group, select it in the Configured NFS groups box and then click
Delete
Group
.
Tip:
Where the NT group names match the NFS group names, mappings can
be automated by selecting the
Automatic name mapping
checkbox. Even
so, NFS group names must be entered.
Importing a Password File
A quick way to specify the user or group details is by importing them from a file. There are three
possible formats for this file, as described below. Choose one format and use it consistently
throughout the file.

Description
Filter NFS Names
Enter the group name to use as a filter or enter the group IDs to
narrow the search criteria. Note that the display limit is 1000
groups.
Configured NFS Groups
Group Name
Displays a list of all defined groups and their associated IDs.
NFS Group Properties
Displays the details of the selected group (selected in the
Configured NFS Groups box)
New NFS Group
NFS Group name
Type the group details configured in the UNIX
environment.
Click Add
Group
Group ID
NT Group name
Type the group details configured in the Windows
NT environment.
NT domain
Import from a file
Enter the filename (or browse to the required file) and click the
Import File button. See

information.
