Teranex Device
Command
Command Description
Model name:
Display the Teranex model name.
Software Version:
Display the checksum of the installed software release.
FPGA Version:
Display the FPGA version of the installed software release.
Panel lock:
Remotely lock the front panel of the device, preventing local
operation. Values are: true (locks the panel), false (unlocks
the panel).
Remote lock:
Manage remote connections to the Teranex processor.
When locked, the Teranex Setup utility cannot access the
device via Ethernet; however, a Telnet connection is
permitted. Values are: true (locks the device), false (unlocks
the device).
Test Pattern
Command
Command Description
Output:
Enable video output Test Pattern. Values are: None, Black,
SMPTEBars, Bars, Multiburst, Grid
No signal:
Define whether Black or Colorbars will be output when there
is a loss of input video. Values are Black, Bars
Test tone:
This command enables and sets the frequency for the audio
test tone in the Teranex AV only. This command is only valid
when a video test pattern is enabled. Values are: None,
Tone750Hz, Tone1500Hz, Tone3KHz, Tone6KHz
Motion:
For Teranex AV only. Enable test pattern motion.
True = ON;
False = OFF
Horizontal rate:
For Teranex AV only. Set motion direction and rate.
0 = no motion (default)
Range is -3 to 3, where:
Positive values = left to right motion
Negative values = right to left motion
Variable Aspect Ratio
The Variable Aspect Ratio block performs the functions of the ADJ menu in the Teranex
LCD menu. Ranges for these numeric values are defined by the current output video format.
Horizontal values are expressed in pixels; vertical values are in lines.
The Variable Aspect Ratio commands ending in “left” will affect the conventional 2D outputs
of the Teranex AV, Teranex Express, Teranex 2D and Teranex 3D, while the “right” commands
perform no operation. When these commands are used in a Teranex 3D set to 3DModeConvert
or 3DMode2Dto3D, the “left” commands will affect the Left Eye output, while the “right”
commands will affect the Right Eye output.
