$PnB

Number of bits allocated to store data for parameter n: 32 = 20 bit data per
parameter plus 12 bits of padding.

$PnE

Lin/Log parameter calibration. This value is always “0,0” and it means linear.

$PnN

Name of parameter n, for example: Manufacturer assigned name, that is: SS-A,
FL2-H, FL3-W.

$PnR

Channel resolution of parameter n: 1048576 = 20 bit parameters.

$SPILLOVER

Compensation matrix. The matrix is size is specified in the first value of the
keyword. The following values indicate the index of each of the parameters listed
in the matrix.

The actual values in the matrix (Sij) are floating point numbers that indicate the
ratio of the amount of signal in the “j” channel to the amount of signal in the “i”
channel for particles carrying only the “i” parameter dye.

Only parameters associated with fluorescence detectors are present in this
compensation matrix.

NOTE

This keyword is not part of the FCS 3.0 standard. It has been included

based on a pre release version of the FCS 3.1; its implementation does not
match the released version of the FCS 3.1 standard.

$TOT

Total number of events acquired.

@BARCODE

Barcode read from the sample loader or “NoRead” if nothing is read.

@BLUELASERPOWER_END

Blue laser power at end of acquisition.

@BLUELASERPOWER_START

Blue laser power at start of acquisition.

@BLUELASERSHUTTER

Blue laser shutter status: “Open” or “Closed”.

@BLUETARGETPOWER

Blue laser target power.

@CHECKSUM

FCS data checksum.

@CAROUSEL

Carousel number read from the sample loader.

@CRS20BITFORMAT

Data stored in CRS 20bit format. This value is always “TRUE”

@CYTOMETERID

The unique ID given to the flow cytometer by the user, for example: the flow
cytometer serial number.

@PnADDRESS

Multiplexer address of parameter n.

@REDLASERPOWER_END

Red laser power at end of acquisition.

@REDLASERPOWER_START

Red laser power at start of acquisition.

@REDLASERSHUTTER

Red laser shutter status: “Open” or “Closed”.

@REDTARGETPOWER

Red laser target power.

@SAMPLEID1
