How to Fix Wrong VPD Problems

If you suspect that your board has problems as a result of wrong VPD information, perform the 
following:

Press the abort switch during startup (double-button reset - reset/abort) to enter the safe 
mode (at this point, the firmware will ignore all SROM contents and reset)

Use the srom, ibm, or update command to change the VPD to the correct parameters

The data listed in the following tables are for general reference information. It is divided into 
two major sections: VPD Data Definitions, which define VPD packet formats, and VPD Content 
Information, which includes information on what is actually contained in the VPD.
