Figure 198:
Travel time calculation
There is a time difference t1 between the pickup of the main contact opening and the
opening of the
POSCLOSE
auxiliary contact. Similarly, there is a time difference t2
between the time when the
POSOPEN
auxiliary contact opens and the main contact is
completely open. Therefore, a correction factor needs to be added to get the actual opening
time. This factor is added with the
OpenTimeCorr
(t1+t2) setting. The closing time is
calculated by adding the value set with the
CloseTimeCorr
(t3+t4) setting to the measured
closing time.
The last measured opening travel time (
TTRVOP
) and the closing travel time (
TTRVCL
)
are given as service values.
The values can be reset using the Clear menu on the LHMI or by activation the input
RSTCBWR
.
Alarm limit check
When the measured opening travel time is longer than the value set in the
tTrOpenAlm
setting, the
TRVTOPAL
output is activated. Similarly, when the measured closing travel
time is longer than the value set in the
tTrCloseAlm
setting, the
TRVTCLAL
output is
activated.
It is also possible to block the
TRVTCLAL
and
TRVTOPAL
alarm signals by activating the
BLKALM
input.
