The
Workers
tab provides the preset entries for the HHD work order field Who
Performed Work. The HHD operator must select from one of these presets; they do not
have the option of entering free-form text into this field on the HHD.
Note
:
The
Workers
tab is blank by default. You must enter you own worker descriptions using
the
Add
button. The workers in the screenshot above have been manually added for the
sake of demonstration.
• Editing Options: The Add, Modify, and Delete options work in the same fashion as those
on the
Notes
tab. Please refer to numbers 38-40 for further information.
Polling Devices - Vehicle
To access the Vehicle Device Parameters, select the Vehicle Protocol in the Tree View on
the left side of the screen. This screen lists the currently added Vehicle Transceiver Units
(VXUs) in the system. In most cases, a utility will have only one VXU, but it may be helpful
for certain reasons to list more than one device in order to allow loading of more than one
VXU route to a disk for the meter readers. Please see Section
more information. To access the specific parameters for a given VXU device, either double
click the device on the right side of the screen, or select it from the Tree View on the left side
of the screen under Polling Devices-Vehicle.
•
Add
: This control allows a user to add a Vehicle Transceiver Unit (VXU) to the system.
•
Delete
: Allows a user to delete a VXU from the system. A VXU that is currently assigned
to a route or is loaded cannot be deleted.
• The
Devices
Tab: This screen displays a list of all currently added VXU devices and
some of the parameters that are set for them.
• The
Notes
Tab: This screen displays a list of the pre-defined note codes that are
currently available for the Vehicle protocol, and allows you to make modifications to this
list. See the section on the HHD Notes Tab for information on using this screen.
