• Didn't respond to the interrogation signal from the VXU. These are denoted NR for No
Response from MXU.
• Contained meters that did not respond even though the MXU did respond. These are
denoted NI for Needs Investigated.
• Contained meters with bad reads. These are denoted BR for Bad Reads.
• Contained non-route meters. These are dR for Non-Route Readings.
• Contained malfunctioning meters. These are denoted RM for Register Malfunctions.
• Has a status/error (also found on the MXU Status report).
• Has a port invalidation (also found on the Port Invalidation report).
A tally of the results display for each MXU. NI will only appear in the result list if NO other
problems were found. Since all activity displays, please note that these results may contain
valid readings (denoted RR for RadioReads or MR for Manual Readings), valid note codes
(denoted NT), answers to questions, and/or work that has been performed. A scribble line is
available to note any comments.
Non-Read Exception
Available in all protocols and printed either automatically or individually from the
Reports
tab.
The Non-Read Exception report lists all meters assigned to the route that didn't receive
readings. If the
Read Counter Increments on Notecodes
check box is checked and a
notecode is entered for the meter, AutoRead considers the meter read and will not include it
in this report.
