•
Meter Units
: Indicates the meter's units of measure. Valid values are Gallons, Liters,
Cubic Feet, and Cubic Meters.
•
Index Reading Resolution
: Will be one of the following valid values: 1x, 10x, 100x, and
1000x.
•
Index Drive
: Will be one of the following valid values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 25, 50, 100, 250,
500, and 1000.
•
Index Scale
: Will be one of the following valid values: CCF, MCF, M3.
•
Initial Reading Resolution
: This is used as the initial reading resolution on the initial
reading screen in FlexPro. During programming, the initial reading is multiplied by this
value before it is stored in the SmartPoint. Will be one of the following valid values: CF,
10CF, CCF, MCF, M3. This is normally the same as the Index Scale.
•
Pulse Per Revolution
: Will be one of the following valid values: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50,
100, 500, and 1000. This parameter is only used when the Meter Type is set to Remote
Mount; otherwise, it is ignored.
•
Compensation Factor
: A value between 0-4 (including decimal values.)
•
Meter Manufacturer
: Indicates the type of meter connected which in turn will dictate
the direction (counter-clockwise or clockwise) that the index drive will turn. Valid
values are AutoDetect, Sensus, Invensys, Rockwell, Equimeter, American, Actaris,
Schlumberger, Sprague, National, Lancaster, Elster, Other: Clockwise Rotation, Other:
Counterclockwise Rot. AutoDetect is the preferred option. If AutoDetect is selected for
this option, the Gas Smartpoint will allow 5 reading revolutions of the index drive to occur
before establishing the direction. For NA2W Gas devices only.
•
Reverse Flow Threshold
: Will be one of the following valid values: Disabled, 1 Count, 2
Counts, 5 Counts, 10 Counts, or 100 Counts. For NA2W Gas devices only.
•
Broken Pipe Threshold
: A value between 0.0 and 4.0. If set to 0.0 then the feature is
disabled. For NA2W Gas devices only.
•
Broken Pipe Time
: Will be one of the following valid values: 0 seconds, 5 seconds, 10
seconds, 15 seconds, 30 seconds, 60 seconds. For NA2W Gas devices only.
Water-Specific Parameters
Water SmartPoints can have two physical ports. Therefore, AutoRead/FlexPro will refer to
Meter A as the first physical port on the SmartPoint and Meter B as the second physical
port. If the Water SmartPoint only has a single physical port, then only Meter A Parameters
are used.
Note
:
The following parameters are the default settings that, if unchanged, are programmed into
the SmartPoint. They can be changed on the HHD (if necessary).
