TX300S and TX300M Test Application Menu Home Screen

The Home menu for the Test Application being viewed on screen can be accessed at anytime during operation by pressing the

 Home

 key 

 on the rubber keypad.

The screen is divided into three presentation areas:

1 - Left:

LEDs:

 Displays soft LEDs associated with Errors and Alarms.

History:

2 - Middle:

Test Applications specific to the module selected (Setup, Results, Alarm/Error, SDH/SONET Tools, PDH Tools, DS3/1 Tools, OTN Tools, Profiles).

3 - Right:

Start:

 Start a test.

Alarm/Err:

 Shortcut menu that directs to the Alarm/Error page. Alternatively, this can be accessed by tapping on the middle Alarm/Error icon.

Laser On/Off:

 Enables/Disables the Laser transmitter on optical ports (SFP or XFP).

MX Discover:

 Enables the test set to discover other test sets for loopback.
