PARTS INSPECTION AND CORRECTION

Scratch on installation surface or

Crack
Remove by using an oil stone.
Replace part in question.
Blow air or pass through wire and
wash.
Remove by using an oil stone or
replace part in question.
Replace cracked part.
Bearing Unsmooth rotation
Nick, pitching, scratch and crack Replace.
Replace.
Bushing and thrust washer Scratch, burr, wear and burn Replace.
Oil seal and gasket Scratched or hardened seal ring
Wear on outer circumference and
side of seal ring
Piston seal ring, oil seal and gaskets Replace.
Replace.
Replace.
Gears Scratch and burr
Excessively worn tooth Replace.
Replace.
Spline Burr, scratch and distortion Correct with an oil stone or replace.
Snap ring Wear, scratch, deformation
and no tightening margin Replace.
Thread Burr and damage Replace.
Spring Setting and burned mark Replace.
Clutch disc and brake disc Wear, burn, plate warpage, crack,
distortion and damaged claw Replace.
Clutch plate and brake plate Wear, burn, warpage and damaged
claw Replace.
Seal surface
(where lip contacts) Scratch, rough surface, stepped wear,
foreign matter being caught Replace.
