1st Service Option

Preconfigures the initial value of the primary service option to be proposed to the MS
during the next connection setup.

If an attempt is made to select a

1st Service Option

that is not supported by the MS,

the MS may suggest another (supported) option. The R&S

CMW will accept and acti-

vate the suggested option, if possible.

During the mobile originated call attempt, the MS can request a particular service
option and service configuration. The R&S

CMW can be set to accept all calls or only

calls requesting a particular service option, see also:

Accept Speech Calls

For the connection reconfiguration during the call use the hotkey "Reconfigure ...", see

"Reconfigure ... (Hotkey)"

on page 525.

The value negotiated and used for the current connection is displayed in the main
view, see

"1st Service Option"

on page 511.

Option R&S CMW-KS810 is required for "SO 0x8000 (Speech)" and "SO 32 (Test
Data)".
