FCH Frame Offset

Sets the frame offset in the forward fundamental channel. Changing the frame offset
immediately changes the traffic channel timing.

Remote command:

SCH0

Configures the main parameters of forward supplemental channel 0.

MuxPDUs / Layer, Frame Type ← SCH0

Parameters multiplex Protocol Data Unit (PDU) per physical layer Service Data Unit
(SDU) and "Frame Type" influence the data rate of SCH0.

Remote command:

Data Rate, Frame Size ← SCH0

Queries data rate and frame size of F-SCH0 and R-SCH0. Values can be set indirectly
by setting "MuxPDUs / Layer" and "Frame Type".

Remote command:

Coding ← SCH0

Sets the type of error-correcting code for F-SCH0 and R-SCH0. If the turbo coding is
on, MS and AN use convolutional coding when channel bits/frame < 360 and turbo
coding when channel bits/frame >= 360. If the turbo coding is off, MS and AN use con-
volution coding for all block sizes.

Reverse Power Control

This section defines the Power Control Bits (PCB) sequence that the generator sends
via forward traffic sub channel F-FCH to the MS to control its total output power.
