Outgoing Message Handling

is set to "Use Internal", this section contains the SMS

message text to send. It is always encoded as 7-bit ASCII text. For other formats use
the file format (

Configures parameters for using the SMS text from an external file.

File Selection > Select File... ← From File

Selects previously stored file(s) containing the desired outgoing SMS message. The
SMS message file has to be stored on the internal drive

are shown. The R&S

CMW supports the message files of

type binary, ASCII and unicode. For more details refer to

Shows the teleservice identifier of the message file.

Shows the encoding of the text field of the message file.

Any other value results in an error (CAUSE_CODE = "Invalid SMS Configuration") and
the SMS message will not be sent.
