Enable

Enables/disables AWGN insertion via the fading module.

Remote command:

Min. Noise/System Bandwidth Ratio

Sets the minimum value of noise bandwith to system bandwidth ratio.

Remote command:

Noise Bandwidth

Total level of the AWGN interferer within the channel bandwidth (the spectral density
covering the receive band and 5 MHz outside the band).

The properties of the AWGN interferer comply with the requirements of 3GPP2
C.S0032, section 6.4.4 (e.g. minimum bandwidth 1.8 MHz, flatness less than ±1 dB,
frequency resolution 1 kHz, output range -20 dBm to -95 dBm).

Effective Signal Bandwidth

Displays the efective bandwidth of forward link.

Signal/Noise Ratio

Displays the signal to noise ratio resulting from the configured AWGN level and the
base level of the forward link signal generator.
