Remote command:
Loopback Enable ← FTAP Configuration
Indicates whether the AT under test shall transmit FTAP loopback packets in order to
provide Packet Error Rate (PER) information. Loopback mode is a prerequisite for FL
"PER" tests. It is always on while a "Forward" test application is active; it is off while a
"Reverse" or a "Forward and Reverse" test application is active. See
Remote command:
Ack Ch Fixed Mode ← FTAP Configuration
Configures the ACK channel in the reverse signal that the AT uses to acknowledge/not
acknowledge FTAP test packets received on the forward traffic channel. ACK channel
transmission is specified in standard 3GPP2 C.S0029-B.
●
ACK always
: "ACK Channel Bit Fixed" mode is enabled; the ACK channel bit
value is '0'. The AT receives all forward traffic channel test packets as if they were
successfully received in one slot duration, irrespective of their actual length. If loop-
back mode is enabled, the AT generates and transmits loopback packets accord-
ing to the received test packets.
●
NACK always
: "ACK Channel Bit Fixed" mode is enabled; the ACK channel bit
value is '1'. The AT receives all forward traffic channel test packets as if they were
full length duration (the "#Slots" depending on the DRC index), even though the
packets may be successfully decoded earlier. If loopback mode is enabled, the AT
generates and transmits loopback packets according to the received test packets.
●
Not used
: "ACK Channel Bit Fixed" mode is disabled; the AT decides whether to
ACK or NACK the packets. This is the recommended setting for "RX Measure-
ment".
