Low Power Mode

If the MDU functionality is not required at all, it can be completely disabled by gating off
its clock input for maximal power reduction. This is done by setting bit MDU_DIS in
register PMCON1 as described below. Refer to

Chapter 8.1.4

for details on peripheral

clock management.
