General Site Requirements
Only authorized personnel should be allowed to access this FSP 3000R7. Install
the equipment in a restricted-access area that meets the following criteria:
•
Access must be restricted to personnel who have been instructed about
restrictions applied to the location, and about precautions to be taken.
•
Access to the location must be controlled through the use of special access
tools, locks and keys, or other devices. Access devices are controlled by the
person in charge of the location.
The site should comply with all applicable local and national safety regulations.
The installation location should be:
•
Clean and dry and allow enough space for future network connections
(space for additional racks).
•
Protected from water both from above and on the floor.
•
Protected from excessive heat, direct sunlight, dust, or chemical exposure.
FSP 3000R7 Equipment Requirements
This section specifies the compliance criteria and equipment specifications for
the FSP 3000R7.
Compliance Criteria
Make sure that your site adheres to the following compliance criteria:
Environment
FSP 3000R7 equipment meets the requirements of NEBS level 3 and ETSI EN
300 019-1-3 (2004).
Degree of Protection
FSP 3000R7 offers an IP20 degree of protection according to IEC 60529. The
equipment has been evaluated for use in a Pollution Degree 2 environment.
There is no protection against water. For indoor controlled office environments
use only.
Acoustic Noise Emissions
The FSP 3000R7 produces sound levels less than 60 dBA. The equipment
meets the requirements of the GR 63 CORE, Issue 2006, ch. 4.6 and ETSI ETS
300 753 (1997)standards.
Electromagnetic Interference and Electrical
Safety
The FSP 3000R7 meets all functional requirements of the following:
•
Telcordia standard GR-1089-CORE, Issue 3, October 2002 regarding EMC
and electrical safety
