Audience
This chapter is intended for Service Personnel, field service technicians, hard-
ware installers, as well as for qualified and authorized personnel who need to
install plug-in modules in a FSP 3000R7 equipment shelf, and perform cabling
tasks.
Personnel are considered to be qualified if they have the necessary knowledge
and practical experience of mechanics, electrical engineering and fiber optic
cabling systems to appreciate the various hazards that can arise from working
on the shelf, and to take reasonable precautions to prevent personal injury and
equipment damage. Qualified personnel also need to be familiar with the man-
agement software available on the system.
