Step 4

Connect the 4-pole plug of the cable to the dual power feed input con-
nector on the shelf. Tighten the two fixing screws on the plug to
secure it. See the figure below for illustration.

Step 5

Route securely the power cables (Power 1 and Power 2) through the
vertical cable bracket on the left hand side of the rack to the high-cur-
rent connectors of the DC power source, e.g. PDU.

Note

Only one power plug (4-pole plug) is needed for the two power feeds,
Power 1 and Power 2.

NOTICE

Risk of electrical damage!
Do not pull out the power plug by the cables, always pull
out using the strain relief clamp of the power plug.

WARNING

Risk of burn and fire!
Do not connect the CBL/DC/300/2AWG16/1HU-HP power cable, if
voltage is applied. Before connecting this cable, ensure that the
associated power source circuit breaker is in the OFF position and
that the corresponding fuse has been removed from the power
source. Failure to follow this instruction will result in burns and
damage of the plug/socket combination by causing electrical arcing.
