Step 5

Locate an AC power cord shipped with the equipment. Verify that the 
power cord is assembled with a device plug of C13 type according to 
IEC 60320 standard at the female end and with a country-specific, 
three-conductor grounding type attachment plug at the male end.

Step 6

Insert the device plug into the appliance coupler on the faceplate of 
the power supply unit (e.g. Power A). Secure the power cord with the 
attached locking clamp (if available). See 

Figure 33

 for illustration.

Step 7

Pass the power cord through the space between two fiber fingers 
(7HU shelf) and bend it about 90 degrees to the left or right in the fiber 
tray (7HU shelf), depending on which side of the rack the power cable 
is to be guided. See 

Figure 33

 above.
