Procedure
Step 1
Read the installation or the cabling plan, or contact the system admin-
istrator to get relevant information you need for performing this task.
Step 2
Connect one end of the proper Ethernet cable into one of the Ethernet
ports on the NCU labeled C1 (or C2 if available), ensuring the RJ45
plug clicks into place.
Step 3
Run the cable down through the space between two fiber fingers,
route it in the fiber tray right up to the OSCM and run it up through the
space between two fiber fingers as shown in

Step 4
Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable into one of the Ethernet
client ports on the OSCM labeled C1, C2 and C3, ensuring the RJ45
plug also clicks into place.

Note
The RJ45 plug will fit into the Ethernet ports (RJ45 receptacles) only
one way. It will click into place when properly inserted.
Ensure the release tab of the plug is pressed before pulling the plug
out.
