Step 3

To enter the appropriate COM port in the “Serial line to connect to” 
field in the “Select a serial line” section, find out first which COM port 
your PC uses as follows:

a) Select Start > Control Panel > System.

b) Select the Hardware tab.

c) Select the Device Manager button. 

d) Expand the Ports (COM & LPT) item and see the COM port used 

as shown below.
