VERIFICATION PROCEDURESVP - 14.1 Y-Axis Operation Check/Adjustment

b. Press Y again. Pusher Arm should retract immediately and not extend farther into Platen.

5. If Step 3 check fails, perform the following steps:

a. Remove Platen.

b. Loosen 2 set screws at left end of shaft (

Figure 3-86, Page-3-162

c. Adjust Y-Axis Drive Mechanism.

d. Pull both Push Arm slides away from platen.

e. Verify Connecting Bars are Horizontal.

Verify position of Sensor Flags.

Ensure slot in Home Sensor Flag is positioned properly (see

Figure 3-86

g. Tighten set screws on left end of shaft.

h. Check Drive Belt tension.

Tighten all Y-Axis hardware.

Install Platen and perform all Platen checks (
