13.6 ON/OFF the Backlight

Function

The backlight of the LCD can be turned ON or OFF. You can prolong the lifetime of the
backlight by turning it OFF when it is not needed.

Operating Procedures

Press the

MISC

key.

Press the “Next” soft key to display the “Next 2/2” menu and then press the “Others” soft
key.

Pressing the “Back Light OFF” soft key turns OFF the backlight and nothing is displayed on
the screen.

To turn ON the backlight, press any key.
