3. Make sure your printer is selected in the Name box in the Print
dialog box (fig. 6.7); then click Properties.
4. Click the Advanced tab to set printer options (fig. 6.8).

5. Highlight the feature in the top box; then select the setting
from the options in the bottom box (fig. 6.8).
6. Click OK. The Print dialog box reappears. Then, click OK to
send the file to the printer.
PPD Menus
PPD settings override printer default settings. The AdobePS printer
driver and your printer’s PPD must be installed and configured
properly for PPD options to appear in your application’s Print dialog
box. See “Adobe PostScript Printer Drivers” in chapter 3
(Macintosh) or 4 (PC) for details.
