After bonding the cap-strips, remove the left side, remove all used plastic and sand
the external faces where they will be glued on the left coating. Remove the tape from the
inside of the left rear fuselage and prepare these same places for gluing, clean and
roughen. Also make this preparation for gluing the lower edges of the left rear section and
the upper part of the lower fuselage where they will be glued. Dig the core of the upper
section of the left fuselage into the cut to fit the horizontal stabilizer and make a horizontal
stabilizer preparation where the liner will be glued.
After preparing all surfaces, prepare two FLOX pastes, a more humid one to be
applied on the cap-strips and on the lower edge of the right rear section where it will be
glued to the lower coating. And another drier to fill the core where it was excavated.
Apply the folders in their respective places as mentioned position, align and secure the
left rear fuselage in place. Use straight angles to secure and give a better finish to the
horizontal stabilizer spar. Also use clecos or small screws along the junction line with the
lower fuselage and with the right rear fuselage as shown in the item 5.12.1 . Wooden
supports around the stabilizer at its rib location can also be used to ensure better quality.
