7.1.1

 

Boom 

The spar for the flap must be cut from a section of the prepreg panel provided. Cut 

89 inches long and 3.5 inches wide, which should be slightly wider in width to be ground 

into the top surface later to position the top coat. 

7.1.2

 

Bottom Mount 

 

 

Place the spar such that the front face is 13 inches in front of the trailing edge. Use 

multiple ribs to maintain alignment. Mark the spar and rib location areas and sand these 

regions to a width of 2 inches.
