inferior is 1.25 inches above the notch. The factory longitudinal notch is located on the
line of -1.25 level. the flattened edge 1.25 inches above is located in level 0 line . Flatten
this edge with some care as this edge will be used for reference during the leveling
procedure. Any level line above this will be positive and below negative.
The upper fuselage section must have a mold planing scribe line on the WL
(waterline - level line) -1.25 (corresponding to the notch in the lower half of the fuselage
which establishes the overlay glue line) and this is where it should be flattened. Carefully
check these lines before using them for cutting. Precisely cut these lines to provide
properly located edges for leveling and clamping.

Leveling and fixing
Two sturdy stands or similar supports must be purchased or manufactured to
support the lower half of the fuselage during the following manufacturing steps. If the
easel is made of plywood, make it with material at least ½ inch thick. The center support
can be flat on top and located in the mold recess in place of the main landing gear. Some
relatively thin material (blanket, blanket, thin foam, etc.) should be used on the surface of
the frame where it will make contact with the surface of the fuselage (based on the figure
below showing the fuselage on the supports).
