Rear Seat Backrest Installation
Cut the rear seat back panel from the two-layer prepreg panel provided in the kit
using the proper pattern and install it in position behind the center section of the rear spar.
Add a hard point of 3 inches square of plywood of 1/4 inch thick for the elevator scale at
the location shown in the figure. Cut the front cladding and remove the core from where
the plywood will be placed. close with a patch four-tier IDB , with at least one inch
overlap around the perimeter of the patch. Install this back panel with the bottom edge on
the station 78 and the upper end on the station 89 .
Cut the back cladding near the fold line and dig a triangle into the core to make it
easier to fold the panel. This flange must be aligned with the horizontal. Draw a horizontal
line on the fuselage at the position where this flange will be positioned for reference. Heat
the front casing, allow it to bend and check that the angle is satisfactory. put a FLOX
paste over the joint and glue it with a BID tape in 2 layers in 2 inches wide .
After curing this flange, prepare the edges of the coating as well as the place where
this panel will be positioned for bonding (clean and leave the rough surfaces), dig the core
around the panel where this will have the fuselage. pass one
