FIGURE ATTACH TO SEAT’S SHOULDER STRAPS
The rear seat seatbelt attach locations are hard points reinforced on the rear seat
where lower rear edge attaches to the fuselage at four points as shown. Two inch wide
pre-wet BID tape cut into 3 lengths of 4,6 and 8 inches long for both sides (front and aft)
at each location and laminate in place as shown.
FRONT SEATS BOTTOM ASSEMBLY
The lower part of the front seats can be tailored to individual needs, but the enclosed
instructions describe the method that has worked well on the factory plane. Seat panels
must be fabricated from the 1/4 inch pre preg panel sections included in the kit. The two
front seats are separated by the central control tunnel and each side can be customized for
individual users. The seat panels run from the main spar top at the rear, to the station panel
30 (with the control mount) at the front. .
Make the center back seat a little oversize section, and snap it into place. Cut a
generous opening for the control rod to avoid restricting movement. Dress the edges of
the opening with a dry FLOX paste. Trim the panel edges to snap close into place against
the sides of the tunnel in the center, and the sides of the fuselage curved at the outer edges,
to keep it from shifting in use. The seat panel works great flat, but can be contoured for
added head room comfort if desired. Can be useful for dashboards.
