Fit the ribs and spars to the horizontal empennage coating with an FLOX paste to hold
them in place (positioning described in item 4.1.3 ).
Cut two (2) pieces of 10” fiberglass mat along the length of the fabric and prepare
2 layers of prelam. After covering the prelam with the plastic, mark to cut a 2-inch wide
strip and cut. Mix a small amount of FLOX for one make a small radius on both sides of
each rib and at the intersection with the spar. Apply a small amount of resin where the
prelam will be added. Apply prelam strips to ribs (both horizontal stabilizer and elevator)
overlapping surface for about 1”. There is no problem in superimposing the prelam with
another if the piece of material is too small to laminate the rib, if necessary, superimpose
the prelam by an inch. Remove all air bubbles and check everything. Allow to cure and
cut any protrusions on the rubber stage.
