Notes:
If the equipment does not work properly after the LGC board was replaced, perform printer all
clear in accordance with the procedure explained in the contents of FS-08-9090 in chapter 15.

Procedure when replacing the battery on LGC board
(1)
Perform [FS-08-4581] to copy the data in SRAM to EEPROM.
If you cannot start up with the 08 Setting Mode, begin from step (2).
(2)
Turn the power OFF.
(3)
Remove a battery from the LGC board.
(4)
Attach a battery to the LGC board.
(5)
Perform [FS-08-4582] to copy the data in EEPROM to SRAM.
(6)
Turn the power OFF.

Notes:
Before replacing the SLG board, perform the following procedure.

Be sure to follow the procedure below when the SLG board is replaced.

Confirm that the power is turned OFF.
(2)
Replace the SLG board.

Update the scanner ROM using the USB media.

Perform [FS-05-3209] to carry out "Data transfer of characteristic value of scanner / SYS board
SLG board".
(5)
Turn the power OFF.
(6)
Perform [FS-08-9902] to check the version of the scanner ROM.
(7)
Turn the power OFF.
