Fire Suppression Planning 

The library does 

not

 ship with a Fire Suppression System installed, although 

features have been incorporated into the library to allow for one. 

Professional Services offers fire suppression systems which are installed on 
site. Visit the Professional Services Web site for more information about these 
services or contact your local Professional Services representative (names 
are also listed on this Web site). 

Figure 37

 shows the accesses for fire suppression planning. 

As a standard safety feature, the library comes equipped with photo-electric 
smoke detectors that 

removes all power from the library

 if smoke is detected 

in and around the library. Power is restored to the library by resetting the AC 
circuit breakers on the power distribution units.
