How to Collect Standard Vibration Measurements
•
Use the up / down arrow keys to highlight the desired
View
option, and press the
OK
button (or left arrow) to select. The field closes and indicates the selected view
option.
The
View Options
screen provides a
Default
function button,
allowing you to, when necessary, quickly revert to the
measurement’s default view.
•
Press the
OK
button to return to the data display screen using the selected
View
option. The selected view is indicated at the top of the display.

Move the spectral cursor to identify spectral frequencies of interest.
Press
P
to jump the cursor to the next peak, or press
H
to display
harmonic markers for the cursor position.
•
For phase readings, move the cursor between peak amplitudes to observe the
phase difference between the peak amplitude components of the roving sensor to
the reference sensor.
If you wish to return to the measurement’s setup screen, exit
Back
to the
Analyzer
main menu and then select the
Recall
icon
to recall the previous measurement’s setup screen.
Save
- If desired, press the
Save
function button to name and save the current
Analyzer display (and its settings) for later review and use. Saving measurement results
is described in detail in the following
Saving Analyzer Measurement Results
section.
Back
– Exits the measurement and displays an
Unsaved data acquisition found!
message that provides you another opportunity to
Save
the measurement results, and
then return to the
Analyzer
screen – or to
Exit
the measurement without saving the
results - or to
Cancel
and go back to the measurement results screen.
