Attaching the Microphone to the Parabolic reflector

Warning: The microphone is a precision instrument; dust, grit, water, rain, etc. will
seriously degrade its performance. Take every precaution to protect the device and
keep it in a dust free environment when not in use.
To attach the microphone inside the parabolic reflector:
•
Remove the microphone’s BNC connector cover.
•
Connect the microphone to the connecting cable’s (CMAC 5093)
BNC connector.
•
Unscrew the parabolic reflector from the parabolic reflector handle and set the case
aside.
•
Gently separate the two halves of the parabolic reflector handle by applying
outward pressure to the top of the handle and, when the top halves separate, slide
the handle halves vertically in opposite directions to disengage the locking
mechanism at the bottom of the handle.
