6.2.1 Channel Bar
Using the R&S FPS you can handle several different measurement tasks (chan-
nels) at the same time (although they can only be performed asynchronously).
For each channel, a separate tab is displayed on the screen. In order to switch
from one channel display to another, simply select the corresponding tab.
The icon on the tab label indicates that the displayed trace no longer
matches the current instrument settings. This may be the case, for exam-
ple, if a trace is frozen and the instrument settings are changed. As soon as
a new measurement is performed, the icon disappears.
An orange "IQ" (in MSRA mode only) indicates that the results displayed in
the MSRA slave application(s) no longer match the data captured by the
MSRA Master. The "IQ" disappears after the results in the slave applica-
tion(s) are refreshed.
Alternatively, if many tabs are displayed, select the tab selection list icon at the
right end of the channel bar and select the channel you want to switch to from the
list.
