Resume
Set the entry of the supervisor password or user password when the
computer resumes from sleep or hibernation to be required (Enabled)
or not be required (Disabled); or, when [Intel(R) Anti-Theft Technology] is
set to [Active] only, to not be required (Auto). This can only be set when
[Password On Boot] is set to [Enabled] or [Auto].

Set whether to only use the internal hard disk as the startup device when
the computer resumes from hibernation, or to try starting up from other
devices with a higher priority than the internal hard disk.

Password
Set a Supervisor Password if you wish to prevent any unauthorized
changes to the Setup Utility settings, also if you require a password
on boot, set [Password on boot] to [Enable] after you set Supervisor
Password.

Hard Disk Lock Select whether to enable (Enable) or disable (Disable) the Hard Disk Lock.
This function will not work without the Supervisor Password being set.

Select whether to permit changing the User Password ([Protected]) or not
([No Protection]).

some of the settings cannot be changed.

This item cannot be changed.
Intel(R) Anti-Theft Technology is technology made by Intel
®
as a
countermeasure against theft. It prevents information leaks by turning off
the computer and preventing startup in an emergency, such as when the
computer is stolen, and erases the key data that is required for accessing
encrypted data.
To use Intel
®
Anti-Theft Technology, a special solution provided by a service
provider is required. For details such as the operation method, contact your
service provider.
