4.10.1 NION-2C8M/16C48M Overview
The NION-2C8M and NION-16C48M can be configured to operate using dedicated scheduler application plug-
ins (2C8M.cfg and .exe and 16C48M.cfg and .exe). Schedulers provide tools to configure these NIONs with
automated I/O scheduling. Each input can be scheduled for automated enable and disable and each output for
activate and deactivate. Three configuration parameters are set using three forms:
• I/O Configuration
• Time Codes
• Holiday Codes
Configurations defined using these schedulers are downloaded and stored in the NIONs. The appropriate collec-
tion of configuration forms can be accessed through the device menu of any defined 2C8M or 16C48M device
icon.
NION I/O Configuration
Each input on the 2C8M and
16C48M can have the following
parameters defined:
• Device Type
• Event Code
• Delay
• Time Code
In addition, you can define the
State for each input of the
16C48M.

on the NION-48M.
There are five buttons which are common to all three tabs:

Apply
- Click on
Apply
to apply any changes made to settings

Cancel
- Selecting
Cancel
will exit the Configuration form without making changes
•
Done
- Clicking
Done
will apply changes AND exit the Configuration form.
•
Save
- Selecting
Save
will save the current assignments. The tabs also allow saving and loading of the I/
O, time code, and holiday code assignments. These can be used to duplicate one subnode configuration
to any number of other subnodes, or to back up your configuration.

Load
- Selecting
Load
will load a previously saved I/O assignment.
