4.4: NION-ENV Plug-in Application
Figure 4-3: NION-ENV Configuration Form
4.4.1 NION-ENV Configuration and Settings Forms
The NION-ENV Plug-In provides two menu commands when configured for use with the HVAC device type. These
two commands are:
•
View Current Settings
•
Configure Device
Both of these commands open similar forms. The primary difference between the two is that the
Configure
Device
menu item
allows modification of all NION settings, and
View Current Settings
provides the same info
in a non-editable format. Both forms share the same upper portion. The
Location
area displays the
Site
and
Device ID
of the NION-ENV being viewed or edited. The
Current Condition
area displays the current
Temperature, Humidity, Current Mode
, and the status of the heating stages, cooling stages, and the fan.
When the plug-in is loaded, it must retrieve initial settings from the NION-ENV. This is indicated by a message at
the bottom of the form, and can take a few seconds. Opening either form creates an Outbound Message that
consists of an information request packet for the NION-ENV. Another Outbound Message is generated for each
setting that is being transferred to the NION from the plug-in.
4.4.2 Configuration Options
The
NION-ENV Configuration
form
contains a number of options for the NION-ENV. The following is a list of
each configuration option. For more detailed information of the interaction of these values with the NION-ENV,
refer to the NION-ENV manual, in the
Operations
section.
